Burnbrae is a warm and welcoming base for your holiday in the Highlands. Fully double glazed and with gas central heating it is perfect for a visit at any time of the year. The cottage sleeps four in one double and one twin room and is fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay. Bed linen, towels and all gas and electricity are included in the rental charge.
Milton is a great base for walkers and bikers, with the Affric hills only 15 miles to the west and many forest walks in the vicinity along with an excellent new mountain biking course only 4 miles into Glen Urquhart.
The nearby village of Drumnadrochit (just a short walk away) has several excellent restaurants and bars as well as 'Monster exhibitions' and just 3 miles away is Urquhart Castle on the shore of Loch Ness - an ideal place for some Monster spotting!
In the city of Inverness, just 15 miles away,are cinemas, swimming pool, museums and a wide choice of restaurants and shops.
Burnbrae is ideally situated for day trips around the Highlands - to the Cairngorms for skiing or just a trip on the Mountain Railway, the Isle of Skye in the West, the Castle of Mey and John o'Groats in Caithness, the many distilleries, castles and gardens around the north, dolphin watching in the Moray Firth and much, much, more. |
